The EAC marking can be either contract-related or standard. For contract-related deliveries, a one-time marking is carried out. For standard deliveries, the marking is carried out for series production. The validity period of the marking for series production can be between 1 and 5 years.
With the introduction of the EAC marking, the standardisation system of the individual EAEU states was fundamentally reformed, and at the same time the regulations for approval were harmonised.
As a result of this harmonisation, national regulations such as GOST certification have lost some of their significance and have been replaced by the EAEU states' TR CU regulations.
