EAC Certification in Russia and EEU States

Authorized Representative for EAC Certification

According to the Eurasian Economic Union regulations, it is required that the manufacturer must have a registered office in the Common Economic Territory of the EEU Countries in order to apply for EAC Certification or EAC Declaration. If this is not the case, a representative of the manufacturer is required for the application and implementation of EAC Declaration and EAC Certification processes in the Customs Union. As a rule, a distributor of the manufacturer from the EEU States acts as the applicant. It is necessary to take into account that afterwards only this distributor has an exclusive right of distribution for the entire certification period and must issue an authorization of sales activity for all other distributors.

If you wish to remain independent of individual distributors, we will provide you with a legal contract person. This task can be performed by our Russian branch in Moscow or Novosibirsk. After successful EAC Certification, we will issue an authorization for distribution activities to all your business partners. If you decide over time to part with certain partners or to engage new distributors, we will support you in all your decisions and withdraw or recreate the an authorization accordingly.

EAC Marking

All EAC certified products must be labelled with an EAC Marking of the EEU States. The EAC Marking provides evidence of EAC Approval with the safety requirements of the EEU States' Technical Regulations. EAC Marking of goods  subject to the mandatory EAC Certification according to the regulations of the EEU States is a basic requirement for access to the EAC market. Marketing of products without EAC Marking is punishable by law and will be prosecuted in EEU Countries.
