According to the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, it is mandatory that only legal entities with an establishment within the Common Economic Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU States) may conduct EAC Certification or EAC Declaration Processes. Unless the manufacturer has an establishment in the EEU Member States himself, an authorized contract person of the manufacturer is required to apply for and perform EAC Declaration and EAC Certification processes in the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union. Authorized Contracting Person for EAC Certification

The authorized representative must be located in a participating state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC States). The manufacturer's representative or the manufacturer himself without a registered office or place of business in the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU Member States) has no legal basis for handling the EAC Conformity Confirmation of his goods in compliance with the Customs Union Technical Regulations (TR CU/EEU).

As a rule, the applicant for EAC Certification is a distributor of the manufacturer from one of the states of the Eurasian Economic Union. In those cases, it is necessary to take into account that subsequently only this distributor owns the exclusive right of distribution for the entire certification period and must issue an authorization of sales activity to all other distributors.

Authorization for Distribution Activity in Russia

In such situations, the manufacturer becomes dependent on the distributor who acted as his authorized contract person for EAC Certification or EAC Declaration. If you wish to remain independent of your individual distributors, we can provide you with a legal contract person.

This task can be performed by our branch in the Russian Federation. After successful EAC Certification or EAC Declaration, we will issue an authorization of sales activity to all your distributors. Should you decide over time to part with certain distributors or engage new ones, we will support you in all your decisions and issue the authorization accordingly.

EAC Certification in Russia and EEU States

An EAC Certificate is a governmental confirmation that the certified products comply with the legal provisions and the minimum safety requirements of the Technical Regulations (TR CU/TR EEU) of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU States).

An EAC Certificate is listed in the Unified Register of Approved Products by a certification service provider accredited in the EEU Member States. The abbreviation E-A-C means Eur-Asian-Conformity and an EAC Certificate is a certificate of Eurasian EAC Conformity. The EEU States are an Economic Union between Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.

The same customs provisions, trade rules and Technical Regulations apply on the entire territory of EEU Member States.

EAC Declaration in Russia and the EEU States

An EAC Declaration for Russia and the EEU States is a governmental confirmation that the declared products meet the safety requirements of Technical Regulations (TR CU/TR EEU) of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU States). A German or a European manufacturer can export the certified products to Russia and all States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU States).

An EAC Declaration is liste in the Unified Register of EEU States by a certification service provider located in EEU States. The EAC Declaration is a mandatory measure for placing products on the EAC market.
