The fee structure for the registration of EAC conformity certificates and EAC declarations will change as of March 1, 2025. 

Registration Fees for EAC Certificates

As of March 1, 2025, Decree No. 714 of the Ministry of Economic Development will come into effect. This decree regulates the establishment of mandatory fees for the registration of EAC certificates, SGR certificates, and EAC declarations in the unified certification register of approved goods in the EAEU member states.

The aim is to achieve uniformity and transparency in the area of conformity assessment within the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union.

The new registration regulation concerns:

  • The initial registration of EAC certificates
  • The initial registration of EAC declarations
  • The initial registration of SRG registrations 
  • The provision of register information 

Registration Fees for EAC Approvals 

The additional registration fees will be paid in the national currencies of the EAEU member states. The payment must be made no later than the day of data submission to the register to the account of the competent authority.

The amount of the fees is established as follows:

  • 35 Euros for the registration of EAC certificates
  • 30 Euros for the registration of EAC declarations
  • 30 Euros for the registration of SRG registrations

The registration fees are generally paid by the applicant. For foreign manufacturers, the registration fee is paid by the certification service provider or authorized representative in the EAEU states. 

Responsibility for Proper Registration

The following authorities are responsible for proper registration:

  • For EAC certificates, the competent certification body
  • For SRG registrations, the competent certification body
  • For EAC declarations, the authorized representation

Exempt from the payment obligation are cases that fall under the special regulation according to point 15 of Government Regulation No. 936 of June 19, 2021.

What are the costs for the registration of an EAC certificate?
As of March 1, 2025, the registration fee for an EAC certificate is 35 euros. This fee must be paid no later than the day the data is submitted to the register.
Who is responsible for the payment of the registration fees?
Typically, the registration fee is paid by the applicant. For foreign manufacturers, the certification service provider or an authorized representative in the EAEU states assumes the payment.
Which authority is responsible for the proper registration of an EAC certificate?
For the proper registration of an EAC certificate, the responsible certification body is accountable. It ensures that all data is accurately recorded in the certification register.
What happens if the fees are not paid on time?
The payment of registration fees must be made no later than the day of data submission. If the payment is not made on time, this could lead to delays in registration and affect the validity of the certificate.
Are there exceptions to the obligation to pay registration fees?
Yes, there are exceptions. Cases that fall under the special regulation according to point 15 of Government Regulation No. 936 of June 19, 2021, are exempt from the payment obligation.
