The EAC marking (Eurasian Conformity) is a legally required safety and conformity mark for products that are placed on the market in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). It indicates that a product complies with the technical regulations of the EAEU states and meets all safety, environmental and health protection requirements.
The EAC mark is comparable to the CE mark in the EU. Without the EAC mark, products may not be legally sold, imported or operated in the EAEU states (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia or Kyrgyzstan).
The EAC mark consists of a uniform, stylized EAC logo in black on a light background. It must be clearly visible, legible and permanently affixed to the product and the packaging. Depending on the type of product, it may also be affixed to the operating instructions or the rating plate.
